These new mini-sized contracts will trade exclusively on the CBOT®'s electronic trading system and offer investors the opportunity to trade some of the world's most popular contracts with less exposure and lower margin requirements.
CBOT® Chairman Nickolas J. Neubauer said, "The launch of the mini-sized products reinforces the Chicago Board of Trade's goal to be a product-driven organization. We will continue to align the CBOT®'s infrastructure and capability to grow existing products and develop new products that provide an economic benefit to the customer."
