CBOT® To Host Chinese Government Delegation And Trade Teams - Tour Trading Floors and Hold Agricultural Conference

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) will host a delegation from China representing the Ministry of Commerce and trade teams from the soybean and machinery industries on Thursday, December 18.

Along with industry-related meetings, the day-long event at the CBOT will revolve around signing ceremonies between government and industry officials from China and the United States. In the first ceremony, Chinese commodity firm representatives will sign contracts of intent for the purchase of U.S. soybeans, and the agreements signed in the second ceremony will be for the purchase of U.S. machinery by Chinese companies.
