CBOT Sets Total Exchange Daily Volume Record

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) today announced a new exchange daily volume record set on July 31 with 3,331,999 contracts traded surpassing the old record of 3,286,987 set May 28, 2003.

Included in this total, the CBOT's electronic trading platform also set a daily volume trading record of 1,946,978 contracts, surpassing the old record of 1,764,569 set July 15, 2003.
