CBOT Promotes Julie Winkler To VP, Business Development

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) today announced the promotion of Julie M. Winkler to the position of Vice President – Business Development. In this capacity, Ms. Winkler will have management responsibility for the growth and development of Financial Product Research & Development, Market Data Services, Market Training and Education, Corporate Strategy, and Business Development Administration. Ms. Winkler will continue to report to Robert D. Ray, Senior Vice President – Business Development.

CBOT President and Chief Executive Officer Bernard Dan said, “Julie has performed an outstanding job for the CBOT. Ms. Winkler joined the CBOT as a Staff Investigator in the Office of Investigations and Audits in 1996. She transferred to the Business Development Department in 1998 as an Economist in the Research and Strategic Analysis group. Most recently, she served as a Managing Director of Business Development.

Ms. Winkler holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance from Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Indiana, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Derivatives Markets from Loyola University, Chicago, Illinois.
