CBOT President Vitale To Speak At FIA Expo Panel

Chicago Board of Trade President and CEO David J. Vitale will present a review of the CBOT®'s successful financial turnaround, progress of the exchange's restructuring, and further expansion of its diverse mix of products--with the recent launch of Swap futures, Dow^SMJones-AIG Index futures and the coming launch of the CBOT® X-Fund contract--at the Futures Industry Association's Futures and Options Expo 2001, Nov. 28-30, 2001, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

Vitale's remarks will be during a panel entitled "What's New Chicago" on Thursday, November 29 at 9:00 a.m. The Expo is sponsored by the FIA whose membership includes more than 50 of the largest futures commission merchants throughout the world. The FIA estimates that its members are responsible for 80% of all public customer business executed on U.S. contract markets.
