Productions ideas this month range from slightly down to slightly higher with continuing eastern corn belt reports of disappointing yields putting our estimate at 2.444 billion bu., down 24 million from last month.
This output would be the smallest since 1996/97 crop year and this year's yield of 33.7 bu per acre would be lowest since 1993/94's flood year.
