CBOT: New Dow Divisor Effective September 30

Starting with Tuesday, September 30 stock market trading, the Dow Jones Industrial Average^SMwill be calculated with a new divisor because of 3M Co.'s 2-for-1 common stock split.

As a result, the divisor for the 30 Industrials changes to 0.13500289 from 0.14249417.
