CBOT Names Kevin W. Lennon VP Real Estate Operations

The Chicago Board of Trade today announced the appointment of Kevin W. Lennon as Vice President Real Estate Operations. Lennon fills the position vacated by the recent passing of Tom Peter.

CBOT® President and CEO Dennis A. Dutterer said, "Kevin Lennon’s expertise will be invaluable in taking the CBOT® buildings, with their technology and infrastructure that is among the best in the city, to the next phase by marketing these advantages and capturing their value for the Exchange and its members."

Lennon served as Leasing Manager for the CBOT® from August 1995 to April 2000. Most recently he was an Associate in the Tenant Representation Group at Jones Lang LaSalle, representing large corporate clients leasing office space. From August 1995 to July 1988 he was Realty Specialist for the General Services Administration, leasing office space for the federal government.

He received a master of business administration degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Business in August 2000, majoring in real estate, finance, and technology and e-commerce. He graduated from Notre Dame in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in economics.

Lennon and his wife, Maura, are the parents of three children, Molly, and twins Brendan and Patrick.
