CBOT/MidAm Good Friday Holiday Trading Schedule

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) and the MidAmerica Commodity Exchange (MidAm) have established the following trading schedules in observance of Good Friday:

Thursday, March 28

  • All CBOT® (open auction) Financial contracts will close at 12:00 p.m. All other open auction contracts (Agricultural and Stock Index) will close at their regular times.
  • Electronic trading: Financial and Metals contracts will close at 12:30 p.m. All other electronic trading will close at their normal times. Overnight electronic trading will be closed.
  • Trading will close at 12:15 p.m. in the following MidAm contracts: Live Cattle; Lean Hogs; and Canadian Dollar. Grain contracts will close at their normal times.
Friday, March 29
  • All CBOT®/MidAm open auction and electronic trading will be closed.
Sunday, March 31
  • Electronic trading reopens at its normal evening times.
