The Chicago Board of Trade said on Wednesday January 27 that its members rejected a proposal for the exchange to form an electronic trading alliance with Eurex, the computerized Swiss-German bourse. The plan to link up the CBOT and Eurex exchanges was voted down by a margin of 450 to 390.
