CBOT Members Approve Two Rule Change Propositions

Members of the Chicago Board of Trade on June 11, 2001, voted approval to to reduce the sponsorship requirement for CBOT® membership applicants from two sponsors to one. The vote for this proposal was 342 1/6 for and 65 1/6 against.

Members also approved, by a vote of 332 2/6 for to 74 against, a proposal to provide for limited, Associate Member (AM) member firm registration, only for 100% parent and 100% subsidiary entities of CBOT® member firms, and only with respect to "AM eligible" contracts.
