- Total exchange month-end open interest was 6,602,737, up 11.5% from March 2002
- Total CBOT equity index volume was 1,317,811, up 129% from March 2002 and up 30.5% from February 2003
- Five-Year Interest Rate Swap futures (open auction) set a daily volume record of 4,306 on March 4, and set a monthly volume record of 13,621
- Ten-Year Interest Rate Swap futures (open auction) set a daily open interest high on March 14 at 64,351
