CBOT Leaders Respond To Petition Vote

CBOT Chairman David P. Brennan and CBOT President Thomas R. Donovan issued the following joint statement today regarding the petitions vote by CBOT members yesterday. "The members have spoken and we move on. The exchange faces many important competitive and strategic issues that will continue to be our top priorities, such as restructuring, Y2K transition, strengthening our open outcry markets and implementation of the CBOT-Eurex alliance. We will work together and with our members, Board of Directors and management team to successfully implement our strategic initiatives to beat the competition and secure a positive future for the exchange."
