CBOT Holiday Schedule-Independence Day

The Chicago Board of Trade and the MidAmerica Commodity Exchange have established the following trading schedules in observance of Independence Day, July 4.

Monday, July 3:

CBOT-Financial, Electricity and Catastrophe Insurance contracts close at 12:00 noon. Stock index contracts close at 12:15 p.m. All other contracts close at their regular times. Afternoon and overnight Project A closed. MidAm-The exchange will not open in New York silver, New York gold or platinum. Trading will close at 12:15 p.m. in the following MidAm contracts: Live cattle, lean hogs, Australian dollar, British pound, Canadian dollar, Deutsche mark, Euro, Japanese yen and Swiss franc. Trading will close at 12:25 p.m. in the following MidAm contracts: Eurodollar and U.S. Treasury bill. Trading will close at 12:50 p.m. in the following MidAm contracts: U.S. Treasury bonds, Long-Term U.S. Treasury notes, and Medium-Term U.S. Treasury notes. All MidAm grain contracts will close at their normal times on Monday, July 3.

If a primary market takes action to amend its trading schedule, the MidAm will amend its schedule accordingly.

Tuesday, July 4: All CBOT pit trading, day session and afternoon session Project A trading closed. Overnight Project A open. All MidAm pit trading will be closed (all contracts).
