CBOT® Fed Funds Options Contract Continues To Set Volume And Open Interest Records

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) today announced the CBOT's Fed Funds options contract, launched one month ago, continues to set volume and open interest records, distinguishing the contract as the fastest growing options contract in the history of the CBOT.

Fed Funds options set a daily volume record of 19,122 contracts on April 11, surpassing the previous record of 17,809 set on April 1, 2003.

Open interest nears the 100,000 mark, with a total of 96,273 contracts outstanding on April 11, 2003.
