CBOT Expands Trading Hours In The DJIA Complex

Effective June 28, 1999, hours in the Chicago Board of Trade DJIA complex will be as follows (Chicago time): 5:35 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. Project A; 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Open Outcry; 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Project A; 6:05 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Project A. As was announced earlier this year, side-by-side trading in the DJIA complex will be made available in the fall. Project A would run from 5:35 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., and open outcry from 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The expanded DJIA futures contract trading schedule will provide additional trading opportunities to CBOT members and customers prior to the opening of the cash market.
