More than 400 people, including family and friends as well as futures industry and civic leaders, were in attendance to see Burke and Durkin accept their awards. Marv Levy, the former Buffalo Bills coach, was the guest speaker for the ceremony.
Burke and Durkin are part of the CBOT's Office of the President and report directly to President and CEO Bernard Dan. Burke is responsible for the CBOT Legal, Real Estate, and Regulatory, and Human Resources activities. Durkin has management responsibilities for all of the Exchange's trading operations, both screen-based and open auction. These functions are integral in the formation of business and Washington strategies for current and future competitive challenges.
