Under the terms of a memorandum of understanding signed in Istanbul on Thursday Vadeli Islemler Egitim Danismanlik A.S., the company to set up the Turkish Exchange, would make use of the Eurex trading platform to enhance distribution of its planned product offerings. The Eurex platform is currently being implemented at CBOT where simulated trading is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 17. Exchange products of the Turkish Exchange would be listed and matched on host computers operated by the partners of the CBOT/Eurex Alliance.
The partners also foresee harmonization of exchange operations, readiness procedures and technical customer support as well as to co-operate in the areas of rules and regulations, product design, market supervision and market surveillance.
