CBOT Commends The Appointments Of CFTC Chairman And Commissioner

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) today congratulated Reuben Jeffery III and Walt Lukken on the Senate’s vote confirming their nominations as Chairman and Commissioner of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), respectively.

CBOT Chairman Charles P. Carey said, “We congratulate both Mr. Jeffery and Mr. Lukken. Mr. Jeffery brings to the Commission a distinguished track record in the private as well as the public sectors. We look forward to working with him and believe the CFTC will continue to thrive under his leadership. In addition, we have enjoyed the privilege of working with Mr. Lukken during his current term at the CFTC and are pleased that his tenure has been extended at the Commission.”
