CBOT Clarifies New Internet Quote Service Program

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) yesterday clarified details of its proposed direct-to-customer quote delivery program, which is slated for distribution over its Internet site (http://www.cbot.com) in late September.

Subscribers to this new program will receive real-time "snapshot" price quotes that will be dynamically updated every ten seconds for a nominal monthly fee of $10.00. The CBOT® expects this service to be invaluable to the retail investor seeking indicative pricing of exchange market activity. And, for a limited time, subscribers will enjoy the service free of charge.

The CBOT® will continue to offer its real-time streaming quotes through its data vendor network to all interested subscribers.
