This is the latest commission CMS has secured with the CBOT, one of the world's leading futures exchanges. In April 2003, CMS was commissioned to install TDI™ as part of a much larger software infrastructure project. The CBOT's new market-data feed developed using TDI™ went live successfully in January 2004.
TDI™ is a modular suite of software that is used to collect, process and redistribute vast tracts of real-time financial data. Since its adoption by prestigious financial institutions such as the CBOT, the London Metal Exchange and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, it has become industry-standard software for the distribution of financial-market data.
The benefits to customers of TDI™ include its wide range of proven input and output interfaces, together with inbuilt network resilience and significant data-flow capabilities.
Bob Antell, CEO of CMS WebView plc, said: "The beauty of our TDI™ software is that, because it is modular, it can be used to provide single or multiple solutions. This new work from the Chicago Board of Trade is an example of TDI™ being used for a single purpose, in this instance to enhance the distribution and throughput of Dow Jones Indexes' data. This latest TDI™ order shows the CBOT's satisfaction with our software, and with the service and support we provide."
