CBOT Board of Directors of CBOT Holdings, Inc. Completes Its Review Of Strategic Alternatives - Company To Proceed With Its Initial Public Offering

CBOT Holdings, Inc. announced today that the Board of Directors of the company, with the assistance of the Board’s financial and legal advisors, has completed its previously announced review of the company’s strategic alternatives. Based on this review, the Board has (1) concluded that it is not advisable at this time for the company to pursue a sale or other change of control transaction and (2) instructed the company’s management to proceed with the company’s pending initial public offering of its common stock.
