CBOT Appoints New Officer

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) today announced the appointment of Dominic Jankowski as a Vice President of the Exchange. Jankowski will be in charge of the CBOT®'s Project Management Office (PMO) in the Technology and Data Products (TDP) business unit.

CBOT® President and CEO David J. Vitale said, "One of the Chicago Board of Trade's top priorities as we move to a for-profit structure is to develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy. Dominic's background and experience will greatly assist Bill Farrow and his team in achieving this goal on behalf of our members and customers."

As head of the PMO, Jankowski, 54, will be responsible for the CBOT®'s program management, vendor relationship management, developing performance metrics, and with developing the process disciplines for the Exchange's TDP business unit. He comes to the CBOT® with 25 years of service with Bank One, having joined the bank when it was the First National Bank of Chicago. Jankowski's experience at the bank included work in the areas of vendor negotiations, financial management, and property management. Previous to joining the bank, he worked in both the public accounting and manufacturing sectors.

Jankowski received both his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from DePaul University.
