CBOT Announces Trading Schedule For June 11

In conjunction with other financial markets, the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) has announced that open auction trading for all products will be closed on Friday, June 11, with an abbreviated electronic trading session in observance of the national day of mourning for President Ronald Reagan. The following is the CBOT trading schedule:

Friday, June 11

  • Open auction trading for all products will be closed.
  • The CBOT?s electronic trading platform, e-cbot, will be opened for an abbreviated session:
  • CBOT Financial Futures and Options products and $5 DowSM (mini Dow) futures and options will close at 8:00 a.m. Chicago time.
  • The $10 Dow Futures and Options on e-cbot® will close at their normal time of 7:00 a.m. Chicago time.
  • Agricultural products on e-cbot will close at their normal time of 6:00 a.m. Chicago time.
  • There will be no trading of metals and Dow JonesSM AIG Commodity Index Futures products on e-cbot on this date.

Sunday, June 13

  • e-cbot trading will resume as regularly scheduled.

Monday, June 14

  • Open auction trading will resume as regularly scheduled.
