CBOT® Announces Trading Hours For Friday, September 14, Stock Index Contracts To Reopen On Monday, September 17

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) today announced trading hours for its open outcry and electronic trading systems for Friday, September 14. CBOT® stock index contracts are scheduled to reopen for trading on Monday, September 17 in conjunction with the announcement by the New York Stock Exchange that it plans to reopen for trading on that day.

CBOT® financial products traded on either open outcry or a/c/e on September 14 will close at 1:00 p.m. (Central Time), as opposed to their regular closing time.

CBOT® Open Outcry for Friday, September 14 (except for stock indices)

Financial products, 7:20 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Agricultural products, 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

Silver futures and options, 7:25 a.m. to 1:25 p.m.

Gold futures, 7:20 a.m. to 1:40 p.m.

The MidAmerica Commodity Exchange open outcry markets will open for trading at normal times on September 14, subject to the schedules of applicable primary markets.

Financial products, 8:00 p.m., September 13 to 1:00 p.m., September 14

Agricultural products, 8:30 p.m., September 13 to 6:00 a.m., September 14

Trading on a/c/e (except for stock indices) is scheduled to continue on September 16 as follows:

Financial products, 8:00 p.m., September 16 to 4:00 p.m., September 17

Agricultural products, 8:30 p.m., September 16 to 6:00 a.m., September 17

The CBOT®"'s equity markets are scheduled to reopen on Monday, September 17. A decision as to a specific time for reopening these markets will be made in coordination with U.S. equity markets, in addition to U.S. regulatory authorities, and will be announced at that time.
