The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) has established the following trading schedule in connection with the Thanksgiving Day holiday:
Wednesday, Nov. 22
- Open auction: Agricultural and Financial contracts will close at 12:00 p.m. Mini-Sized Agricultural and Metals contracts will close at 12:30 p.m. Stock Index contracts will close at 3:15 p.m.
- Electronic trading: Overnight electronic trading will be closed.
Thursday, Nov. 23
- All daytime trading will be closed. Overnight electronic trading will be closed for Metals contracts. Overnight electronic trading reopens at normal evening times for all other applicable contracts.
Friday, Nov. 24:
- Open auction: Metals contracts remain closed. Agricultural and Financial contracts will close at 12:00 p.m. Mini-Sized Agricultural contracts will close at 12:30 p.m. Stock Index contracts will close at 12:15 p.m.
- Electronic trading: Dow-AIG Commodity Index and Metals contracts will remain closed. Agricultural contracts will close at 12:00 p.m. Stock Index contracts will close at 12:30 p.m. Financial contracts will close at 1:00 p.m.
