CBOT Announces Results Of SO2 Emissions Allowance Auction

The Chicago Board of Trade today announced the results of the 11th annual Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) emissions allowance auction for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

On hand to participate in the press conference held in conjunction with announcement of the auction results were (all via telephone) Sam Nepolotano, Acting Director of EPA's Clean Air Markets Division; Richard L. Sandor, CBOT® member and developer of the CBOT's SO2 Auction; Matthew Most, Chairperson, The Emission Marketing Association; with Edison Mission Marketing & Trading, Boston, Mass.; and CBOT staff member Eugene Kunda.
