In this newly created position, Chris Malo will be responsible for the CBOT’s overall marketing and business development initiatives, including sales, marketing and product development.

This is a very exciting time for the CBOT, and the industry at-large, and I am confident Chris’s combination of skills and leadership experience, together with the capable marketing and business development team already in place, will help to position the Exchange for continued success.”
Mr. Malo added, “It is an honor to join the CBOT. The Exchange is known worldwide as a benchmark for global pricing of commodities and financial products, and I look forward to working closely with CBOT customers, management and members to develop initiatives that are designed to maintain the Exchange’s leadership position.”
Mr. Malo joins the CBOT from Cargill Investor Services (CIS), where he held various executive positions in the company since 1978. As Senior Vice President and Director, Malo was responsible for all CIS activities with regard to fund and alternative investments. He previously served as CIS’s Global Head of Business Development and Marketing activities.
