CBOT Achieves New All-Time Volume Record

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT® ) today announced an all-time total exchange volume record, already surpassing the exchange's 2002 volume record of 343,882,529 contracts. As of close of business on Friday, October 3, 2003, 345,386,451 contracts were traded, year-to-date at the CBOT.
