CBOE Trading Hours To Change On February 13, 2006

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced today that the closing time for equity options and narrow-based index options will change to 3:00 p.m. Central Time, beginning on Monday, February 13, 2006. The change affects options on stocks, and options based on narrow-based indexes and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) that currently close at 3:02 p.m. CT. The change is being made in conjunction with the other U.S. options exchanges.

Trading hours for broad-based indexes and ETFs based on broad-based indexes that now close at 3:15 p.m. CT will not change, and will continue to close at 3:15 p.m. (For example, DIA, DJX, IWM, MNX, NDX, OEX, QQQ, RUT, SPY, SPX and VIX close at 3:15 p.m. CT).
