CBOE Trades Over 2.5 Million Contracts On Friday, January 16th - Second Highest Single-Day Total In Exchange History

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), the world's largest options exchange, announced that reported volume at CBOE totaled 2,581,823 contracts on Friday, January 16th. This total represents the second highest single-day volume total in Exchange history. Today's volume nearly eclipsed the all-time single-day volume record of 2,695,462 contracts traded on April 18, 2001.
