CBOE To Open For Normal Business Hours

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced today that it will be open for regular trading hours on Friday, August 13, 1999 regardless of the status of Commonwealth Edison power. CBOE, if necessary, will operate its trading floor through the use of its back-up generators.
Normal trading hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:02 p.m. CDT for stock options and 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. CDT for broad-based index products, including the S&P 100 Index (OEX) and S&P 500 Index (SPX).
