CBOE To Offer Options On Google Friday August 27, 2004

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), the world's largest options exchange, today announced that it will list options on the stock of Google Inc. (Nasdaq ticker symbol GOOG) on Friday, August 27, 2004, following certification by the Options Clearing Corporation. Google stock is expected to begin trading today.

It is anticipated that strike prices for Google options will bracket the stock price, with time to expiration ranging from one month to up to three years in the future. Details of the options listing will be announced soon.

CBOE lists options on 41 indexes, 56 exchange traded funds, 1,450 equities, 4 interest rate products and 3 structured products.
