The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced it will list options on UAL Corporation (NASDAQ ticker symbol UAUA; CBOE ticker symbol UAL) beginning Friday, February 10, 2006.
UAL Corporation, the holding company whose primary subsidiary is United Airlines, began trading on NASDAQ on February 2nd, one day after formally emerging from bankruptcy.
CBOE plans to trade UAL options on the March expiration cycle, with introductory expirations in March, April, June and September. Initial strike prices will be set at 25, 30, 35 and 40 with position limits of 25,000 contracts.
Specialists DPM has been named the Designated Primary Market Maker (DPM) in the options.
