CBOE Sets Record Daily Volume In Equity Options On Friday: Nearly 4.6 Million Contracts Change Hands

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that on Friday, April 17, the Exchange recorded its best single-day equity options volume ever as 4,598,738 contacts changed hands.This surpasses the Exchange's previous equity options volume high of 4,273,390 contracts traded at CBOE on July 17, 2008.Total CBOE options volume on Friday was 7,004,292 contracts.
