CBOE Sets 10:00 a.m. Market Opening For September 11

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that in conjunction with the delayed opening of the New York Stock Exchange, the CBOE will open trading at 10:00 a.m. CDT (Chicago time) on Wednesday, September 11, 2002. The delayed opening is in honor of the victims of 9/11 and in respect for the memorial services planned for that day in New York City and across the country.

All CBOE products, including interest rate products, will open for trading at 10:00 a.m. The Extended Trading Hours session on CBOEdirect, that normally is open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:15 a.m, will not be open on that day.
