Cboe Global Markets Reports Suspected Theft Of Property

Cboe Global Markets, Inc. (Cboe: CBOE) reported today an incident involving a suspected theft of property. The incident involved computer servers and networking devices that were never used or not in service on any trading network on a Cboe Global Markets exchange at the time of the suspected theft. Upon learning of the suspected theft, Cboe began an investigation of the matter leading to the termination of an employee.

Cboe has found no evidence that any of the servers contained personally identifiable information (PII). Cboe also found no evidence to indicate any unauthorized systems access, or that trading on any Cboe Global Markets exchange was affected as a result of this suspected theft.

Cboe continually strives to maintain the protection of its property and the effectiveness of its related policies, procedures and controls. Cboe has reported this issue to relevant trading firms and is cooperating fully with local and federal law enforcement in an ongoing investigation into this matter.
