CBOE Closed On Friday, April 18, 2003

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) will be closed on Friday, April 18, 2003. Therefore, the last day of trading for CBOE listed stock options and S&P 100 Index (OEX) options with an April expiration, will be Thursday, April 17, 2003. The settlement value for these contracts will be based on Thursday's closing prices. The last day of trading for European-style index options with an April expiration will be Wednesday, April 16, 2003. The settlement values for European-style indexes will be calculated based on Thursday morning's opening prices as prescribed in CBOE's rules. All CBOE index products are European-style, except for OEX.

All CBOE rules which customarily apply to Expiration Friday procedures are in full force and effect on Thursday, April 17, 2003. The cut-off time for the submission of Contrary Exercise Advice (CEA) notices of expiring April contracts is Thursday, April 17, 2003 at 4:30 p.m. CST (Chicago time).

Also, on Thursday, April 17, CBOE's interest rate products will close at Noon, CST.

Regular business hours will be observed in all CBOE products on Monday, April 21, 2003.

Wednesday, April 16: Last trading day for European-style Index options with April expiration.(e.g.: XEO, DJX, DIA, MNX, NDX, RUT, SPX)

Thursday, April 17: CBOE interest rate option products will close at 12:00 Noon CST (Chicago time).

Last trading day for stock options and OEX index options.

Friday, April 18: CBOE Closed
