CBOE Chairman William J. Brodsky Elected To Derivatives Hall Of Fame

William J. Brodsky, Chairman and CEO of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) was nominated for induction into the Derivatives Hall of Fame. Mr. Brodsky will be honored during a luncheon ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York City on Friday, April 14, 2000.

The nomination, in recognition of Mr. Brodsky's significant contributions and lifetime achievements in the derivatives industry, results from the recommendation by current Hall of Fame members. Mr. Brodsky joins the distinguished ranks of the Hall of Fame with this year's three other inductees - Mark Rubenstein, Patrick de Saint-Aignan and Oldrich Alfons Vasicek.

The Derivatives Hall of Fame, established in 1997, has previously honored the likes of Nobel Laureates, CEOs and Presidents from the corporate, academic, technological and institutional fields. The illustrious list of current Hall of Fame members includes: Myron Scholes, Leo Melamed, Richard Sandor, Robert Merton, Conrad Volstad, Edson Mitchell, Allan Wheat, Derrick Tullett, Jorg Franke, Lisa Polsky and Merton Miller.
