The Board of Directors of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that Bradley G. Griffith will serve a third consecutive one-year term as the Vice Chairman of the Chicago Board Options Exchange for 2009.The new term as Vice Chairman begins on January 1, 2009.

Griffith has been a CBOE member since 1980 and is presently a market maker and lessor member of CBOE.He was formerly a managing member of Specialists DPM, LLC, a Designated Primary Market Making (DPM) firm at the CBOE.In 2008, he served on the CBOE Board of Directors and chaired the Floor Directors and Financial Planning Committees. He also served on the Compensation and Executive Committees.Griffith is a graduate of Indiana University.
Griffith, who was declared Vice Chairman by the CBOE Board of Directors, is the seventeenth Vice Chairman in the thirty-five year history of the Exchange. The Vice Chairman at CBOE is the highest membership representative position at the Exchange and carries a one-year term with a maximum of three consecutive terms served.
