CBOE Board Of Directors Announces 2007 Vice Chairman - Bradley G. Griffith Becomes Exchange's Seventeenth Vice Chairman

The Board of Directors of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that Bradley G. Griffith will serve as the new Vice Chairman of the Chicago Board Options Exchange in 2007. Mr. Griffith, currently a Floor Director on CBOE's Board of Directors will serve a one-year term as Vice Chairman, beginning January 1, 2007.

"Brad is a long-time member of CBOE and through the years, has always been an active participant on various Exchange committees and a leading voice of the membership. As Vice Chairman, his wealth of experience and passion for the Exchange will serve CBOE well," said CBOE Chairman and CEO William J. Brodsky. Mr. Griffith has been a CBOE member since 1980.He is the managing member of Specialists DPM, LLC, a designated primary market making firm at the CBOE. He is also a principal in Edge Capture, LLC, a proprietary software provider. In 2006, he served on the CBOE Board of Directors and chaired the Financial Planning Committee. He also served on the Allocation, Audit, Compensation, Floor Directors, and Floor Officials Committees. Mr. Griffith is a graduate of Indiana University.

Mr. Griffith was declared Vice Chairman by the CBOE Board of Directors. He becomes the seventeenth Vice Chairman in the thirty-three year history of the Exchange. The Vice Chairman at CBOE is the highest membership representative position at the Exchange and carries a one-year term with a maximum of three consecutive terms served.
