Mr. McCormick joined Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. in April of 1998. Previously, he spent 12 years with Harris Futures Corporation, most recently as its Chief Executive Officer from 1993-97. During the same period, he was a Managing Director of Capital Markets for the Bank of Montreal and served on their Treasury Board. He has served on numerous exchange committees and was a member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Board of Directors from 1994-97. Recently, he served on the Board of the Chicago Stock Exchange and currently serves on the following committees: SIA Options, CBOE Managing Directors, CBOE Nominating, AMEX and PCX Retail Advisory and CBOE Single Stock Futures task force.

McCormick will replace James Hackley who has served on the Board since 1998. Also stepping down from CBOE's Board is David Vitale who recently was appointed CEO of the Chicago Board of Trade.
