Adding ETFs Activity to the Executive Regulations of the Capital Market Law
Within the framework of enhancing the Egyptian capital market and introducing new financial instruments, the Minister of Investment, Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin issued a new decree to amend chapter 3 of the Executive Regulations of the Capital Market Law to include a new section for the ETFs activity.
Adding Market Maker's Activity to the Activities of Securities Companies
The Minister of Investment, Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin issued a decree adding the activity of market maker to the activities of securities companies. Market maker is responsible for providing permanent liquidity for certain securities which are selected from a list of eligible securities announced by the stock exchange, together with setting bids and asks continuously during the trading session.
