Bursa Malaysia Cautions Investors On Iris Corporation Bhd

Bursa Malaysia wishes to draw the investors’ attention to the recent price rise and high volume of Iris Corporation Bhd (IRIS). Although the company has on 28 March 2006 responded to Bursa Malaysia’s query on unusual market activity that there may be an interest by a multinational corporation to acquire an equity stake in IRIS and to form a strategic partnership with the Company, Bursa Malaysia however would like to advise investors to exercise caution in the trading of IRIS and to guide their investment decisions based on the fundamentals of the company rather than rumours or excessive speculation.
