Bursa Malaysia Berhad Announces Appointment Of Director To Its Subsidiaries

Bursa Malaysia Berhad announced the appointment of Datin Grace Yeoh Geok Cheng as Nominee Director to the Board of Director of its subsidiaries, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and its clearing house, Bursa Malaysia Securities Clearing Sdn Bhd, effective 1 August 2017.

Datin Grace Yeoh Cheng Geok is the Managing Partner of Shearn Delamore & Co, a legal firm.

The Board of Directors of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and its clearing house as at  1 August 2017 consists of three Directors of Bursa Malaysia Berhad and two independent Directors, as follows:-

1. Encik Johari bin Abdul Muid
   Non-executive Director and Public Interest Director

2. Datin Grace Yeoh Cheng Geok
   Independent Non-Executive Director of Bursa Malaysia Berhad

3. Datuk Seri Tajuddin bin Atan
   Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Bursa Malaysia Berhad

4. Mr Kuok Wee Kiat
   Independent Director with experience in securities industry

5. Puan Mazidah binti Abdul Malik
   Independent Director with experience in securities industry
