Börse Berlin Ceases Trading Of First Quotation Board Securities

Date 14/12/2012

Approximately 290 securities will be delisted from the Berlin Stock Exchange on 14 December 2012 as a result of the closure of the First Quotation Board at the Frankfurt Exchange. A list of all affected securities is available for download at www.boerse-berlin.com.

Berlin, 14.12. 2012. All instruments affected by the delisting were traded on the secondary market in Berlin.  In order to be traded on the secondary market, securities need to be admitted to a trading venue that is recognised by the Berlin Stock Exchange – their so called home market. The home market for the securities that are now delisted was the Frankfurt Exchange.  With the closure of the First Quotation Board these securities no longer have a home market. The trading of securities that are not admitted to another recognised market will therefore end simultaneously with the closure of the First Quotation Board in Frankfurt.

A list of all delisted securities is sent out together with this press release. The list is also available in pdf – format for investors to download directly from our website www.boerse-berlin.com. The affected securities were traded on the Xontro market.
