BrokerTec Futures Exchange September 11th Remembrance

In remembrance of the terrorists attacks of last year, on September 11, 2002, BrokerTec Futures Exchange (BTEX) will close for one minute at 8:46 a.m. (New York time), the time that the first plane hit the World Trade Center, and for one minute at 10:29 a.m. (New York time), the time the second tower collapsed. During these closures, all orders will remain in the system and participants will not be able to execute, modify, delete or update any of these orders. In addition, BTEX will close early for trading of all futures contracts on Wednesday, September 11, 2002 at 2:30 p.m. (New York time). BTEX will reopen for trading at 2:00 a.m. (New York time) on Thursday, September 12, 2002.
