BBCE – Brazilian OTC Energy – announced robust performance in power physicals. The Company achieved its best semester with R$ 42,35 billion (+202.5%) and 303 TWh, up 234% from 1S2023. This volume was divided in 50,482 contracts (+431.4%).
According to Eduardo Rossetti, Commercial, Products, Communication and Marketing director at BBCE, the rise reflects the prices volatility and prices rise perspective. “The sum of the first semester is higher than all the 12 months of 2023. The last year registered incredibly low volatility, nevertheless, we saw high volatility in 2024 from January to June, and in the current month”, says.
