BOX Options Exchange Closed Tuesday, October 30, 2012 Due To Hurricane Sandy

As  a  result of  Hurricane Sandy’s continuing impact on  the  New  York area BOX Options Exchange will be closed Tuesday, October 30, 2012. This was a coordinated decision made with input from the SEC, other exchanges, and industry participants in the interest of public safety and maintaining fair and orderly markets.

BOX expects to re-open its market Wednesday, October 31. BOX will, however, continue to monitor the situation and will provide an update if there is a significant change in the forecast or there is damage to the NYSE physical structures. Any further change in operational plans will be communicated via Regulatory Circular and posted to the BOX Exchange website at http://www.boxexchange.com.
