This figure includes the net inflow of BRL 1,214,940,231.00 (or USD 597,345,115.79), resulting from purchases of BRL 28,489,353,062.00 (or USD 14,007,253,582.77) and sales of BRL 27,274,412,831.00 (or USD 13,409,908,466.98), as shows the table below:

The International Investor´s participation in public offerings, including IPOs which distribution and closure notice were published up to April 30, was USD 7.6 billion or 74.5% of the total value of offerings which accounted to USD 10.2 billion.

Novo Mercado and Levels of Corporate Governance
The IGC (Corporate Governance Index) closed April up 7.2%. It is composed of 114 companies: 62 of Novo Mercado and 52 of Level 1 and 2. These companies now represent 60% of BOVESPA´s total market capitalization and 58% of the total trading value of BOVESPA. In the period, nine companies joined Novo Mercado: on April, Even, BR Malls, Heringer, JHSF, Metalfrio, Bematech, CR2, Agra and Cremer had their IPOs; and one company joined Level 1 of Corporate Governance: on April 2, Banco Pine had its IPO.
Investors Groups
The monthly trading turnover was pushed by International Investors, who led transactions with a 33.05% stake against 34.52% in March. Institutional Investors ranked second with 30.19% compared to 28.85% registered in the previous month, followed by Individuals with 21.45% (against 24.95%); Financial Institutions, 13.75% (against 10.19%); Companies, 1.46%, (against 1.33%); and Other Groups with 0.10%, against 0.15% registered in March.
Home Broker Stake
The Home Broker system reached three new records in April:
- total traded value, that amounted to BRL 10.7 billion (or USD 5.2 billion)
- total number of trades over 1.3 million; and
- number of registered logins, that reached 106,986.
The participation in BOVESPA´s total result reached 7.48% and 26.69% in trade value and volume, accordingly, against 7.57% and 23.56% in March. BOVESPA´s trading system reached daily averages of 63.824 trades with BRL 536.6 million (or USD 264 million) financial value traded (against 55.434 trades with BRL 477.9 million or USD 253 million in the previous month). Currently provided by 58 brokerage houses, the Home Broker registered an average value of trade of BRL 8,400.00 (or USD 4,150.00).

Trading Value
In April, BOVESPA turned over BRL 84.6 billion (or USD 41.6 billion) compared to BRL 76.8 billion (or USD 36.8 billion) in the previous month. The daily average stood at 125,052 trades and BRL 4.2 billion (or USD 2.1 billion) as financial value traded. For comparison purposes, March registered 123,171 trades as average with BRL 3.5 billion (or USD 1.6 billion) financial value traded.
The most active stocks in terms of trading value were:
- Petrobras PN (BRL 8.37 billion or USD 4.1 billion);
- Vale R Doce PNA (BRL 6.57 billion or USD 3.2 billion);
- Usiminas PNA (BRL 2.53 or USD 1.2 billion);
- Bradesco PN (BRL 2.27 billion or USD 1.1 billion); and
- Vale R Doce ON (BRL 1.82 billion or USD 896 million).
Markets
Cash Market was responsible for 93.7% of the total value traded in April, followed by the Options (3.7%) and Forward (2.6%). The After Market amounted to 27,258 trades worth BRL 215,288,970.91 (or USD 105,921,699.40). In the previous month, there were 27,790 trades with BRL 255,825,839.55 average (or USD 122,411,945.87).
Ibovespa
The benchmark Ibovespa closed April up 6.8% at 48.956 points, after reaching eith afterall records in April.

Market Capitalization
In April, the market capitalization of BOVESPA´s listed companies amounted to BRL 1.75 trillion (or USD 860.5 billion).
Fixed Income
In April, 2 FIDC (Receivable Investment Funds) and 2 CRI (Real State Receivable Certificate) have started to trade on BOVESPA Fix and SOMA Fix Markets. The trading value of BOVESPA fixed income markets turned over BRL 127,222,615.54 or USD 62.527.479,70 (against BRL 62,899,304.67 or USD 30.166.832,92 totaled in previous month). Out of this total, BRL 75,519,911.75 referred to FIDCs (or USD 37,136,328.36), BRL 13,713,106.87 (or USD 6,757,771.30) to CRIs (Real Estate Receivable Certificates) and BRL 37,989,596.92 (or USD 18,633,380,03) to Corporate Bonds.
